Batangas City—Batangas Governor
Vilma Santos-Recto led the 41st Walk for A Cause program, the
Alay-Lakad 2013 and walked the city’s streets in support of Batangas’ Out of
School Youth sector.
Also with the governor were Vice
Governor Mark Leviste, Provincial Administrator Victor Reyes, Actor Dingdong
Dantes at Ms. Llanda Bolilia, president of the Alay Lakad Foundation
Incorporated.
The Department of Education and
thousands of employees from the different departments of the provincial
government also joined in the walk for a cause, along with public and private
schools, corporations, and national agencies.
Education plays a big part in the
governor’s HEARTS programs which promote a higher quality of education in the
