Gov. Vi presents Mutya ng Batangas candidates

The search is on again for the queen who will wear the Mutya ng Batangas 

crown this year.

Tanauan City—The search is on again! Governor Vilma Santos-Recto formally  introduced the 22 candidates for the 2012 Mutya ng Batangas beauty pageant during the Press Presentation last November 6 at the Walter Mart Activity Center here.

   The  Mutya ng Batangas 2012 is one of the main events of the upcoming  Ala eh Festival 2012 to be held in this city in December.  

   

   The Ala eh Festival showcases the best of Batangas and celebrates the cultural heritage of the province.  

   Each candidate represents her own town or city as Ambassadors of Beauty and Goodwill for the province.  

   The candidates gamely answered the questions from the audience, about a wide range of topics, from Batangas’ cultural heritage to the controversial Reproductive Health Bill.

   

   The coronation night for the  2012 Mutya ng Batangas will be on December 5 where the reigning queen   Mary Rose Pujanes from Sto. Tomas town will relinquish her crown to the new title holder.
